In addition to his practice of law, Banks has been active in San Antonio representing non-profit organizations such as the San Antonio Museum of Art and the San Antonio Conservation Society. Banks is the Trustee and legal counsel for the Voelcker Fund and represented the Voelcker Fund in connection with the sale of the 310-acre Voelcker Farm to the City of San Antonio for Hardberger Park.
