    Stanley Schoenbaum has practiced tax law in San Antonio since 1958, after five years with the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service, including service with the Legislation and Regulations Division at the National Office. He was the senior founder of Schoenbaum, Curphy & Scanlan, P.C. in   1974 along with Jim Curphy and William Scanlan. Mr Schoenbaum was chairman of the Tax Section of the State Bar of Texas in 1968.
